Engine manufacturers generally limit their warranties by stating that their warranty is voided from damages caused by non-factory modifications to their engines. This means they are still responsible for any damages not related to the modifications.

The following ITG warranty picks up where the manufacturer’s warranty leaves off. ITG will repair or replace an engine if bi-fuel is the cause of any damages.

PRODUCT WARRANTY

ITG warrants the components of each bi-fuel conversion system to the original purchaser, to be free gas leaks, defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of the ITG authorized startup. ITG shall replace or repair, at their option, any product or parts, which after review or examination by ITG, shall be deemed defective. The purchaser shall contact ITG prior to returning any products or parts for replacement. All shipping costs from the purchaser to ITG shall be prepaid.

ITG warrants against any damage to the installed engine caused by the failure of ITG supplied products and parts. ITG , at their option, will repair or replace any engine damaged by the ITG bi-fuel system after having an opportunity to have the engine inspected by ITG or an ITG and purchaser selected neutral third party, before it is dismantled.

This warranty shall be void if ITG components have been altered by unauthorized agents or modified in any manner from the original installation configurations.

ITG warrants that bi-fuel converted engines shall operate within engine manufacture’s Specifications for safety, horse power, operating temperatures, engine wear, load response, maintenance requirements and sound levels. Bi-fueled engines shall reduce NOx emissions by up to 60% from base line diesel operation.

ITG specifically makes no warranty claims with respect to accidental or deliberate damages resulting from product use, damages caused by improper installation by ITG agent dealers, damages from engine misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, fuel contamination, acts of God, vandalism and all conditions not related to bi-fuel operation.

This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
